Privacy Policy

Sticky for Claude is a native macOS app published by GR Learning LLC (“we”, “us”). We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the product. This policy explains what we collect and why.

The short version

• Your conversations with Claude stay on your Mac. We never receive, store, or transmit their content.
• We don’t sell your data, and we don’t run third-party ad trackers.
• The only data we collect is anonymous usage counts, and the email tied to a purchase.

What the app collects

The app sends two small anonymous pings, each at most once per day: a launch ping so we can count active installs, and a usage ping (sent the first time you actually interact with the app that day) so we can count daily active users. Each contains only: a random identifier generated on your Mac (not linked to your identity), the app version, your macOS version, and your system language. They never contain your conversations, your files, your Claude account, or any personal information.

You can turn this off at any time, the app runs fully without it.

What the website collects

On stickyforclaude.com we record basic, privacy-friendly analytics to understand traffic: page visits and button clicks, tied to a random identifier stored in your browser (localStorage key s4c_aid). We also log the referring site, browser language, and hostname. No cookies for advertising, no cross-site tracking.

What we collect when you buy

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. After a successful purchase we receive and store your email address and your license key, so we can deliver the key, provide support, and manage activations (your license works on up to 3 Macs).

Third parties we use

• Stripe, payment processing (privacy policy).
• Supabase, database that stores licenses and anonymous usage counts.
• OVH, sends your license and support emails.
• GitHub, hosts the app download and update files.

Data retention & your choices

We keep purchase and license records as long as your license is valid or as needed for accounting. You can ask us to access or delete the personal data we hold about you (your email and license) by writing to contact@stickyforclaude.com. Deleting your license record ends your ability to activate the app.

Children

Sticky for Claude is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

We may update this policy; the “last updated” date above reflects the latest version. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
