Sticky for Claude vs opcode (formerly Claudia)

Updated July 2026 · Written by the maker of Sticky for Claude, with genuine respect for opcode

opcode (which started life as Claudia) is a popular open-source desktop GUI for Claude Code: session management, custom agents, usage analytics, a friendly windowed interface on top of the CLI. It's free, and if open source is a hard requirement for you, it's the tool we'd point you to.

Sticky for Claude plays a different role. It's not trying to be a full workbench, it's the system-level overlay: floating windows that stay above every app, including true fullscreen, summoned anywhere with a double-tap of ⌘. One-liner: opcode gives Claude Code its own app window. Sticky for Claude removes the window switch entirely.
